What is Thai Massage?
Thai massage is a holistic and ancient practice that combines elements of acupressure, deep tissue massage, and assisted yoga-like stretches. Unlike many other forms of massage, Metta Dragon Thai massage is performed fully clothed on a comfortable mat on the floor, using no oils. This allows for a dynamic range of techniques focusing on addressing specific physical issues.
At its heart, Thai massage is about creating balance. Whether through passive stretches that enhance flexibility, tension relief in problem areas, or a deeply meditative flow. Each session is personalized to relax and restore your body, leaving you feeling rejuvenated and at ease.
Why “Metta Dragon”?
The name Metta Dragon reflects the essence of Thai culture and tradition.
Metta:
This is a Buddhist term meaning "loving-kindness" or "universal goodwill." It embodies the compassionate intention behind every massage I provide. My goal is to bring healing, warmth, and care into every session.
Dragon:
In Thailand, the dragon is a symbol of strength, protection, and transformation. It represents wisdom, vitality, and the power to overcome challenges. The dragon reminds us of the dynamic energy flowing through the body and the potential for renewal and harmony.
